Working with Muse
At Muse College Consulting, we utilize our experiences, expertise, and connections in the higher education recruitment and admissions process to work with students on their journey through the performing arts college application process. Through our approach we advise and mentor students by teaching and providing tools to support success in this process and beyond. Beyond advising and mentoring, we curate opportunities to connect with both higher education professionals and performing arts professionals who will also guide, educate and mentor students and showcase the return on investment of a performing arts degree.
Our president, Tracee Duerson, combines her knowledge and experience working in both the non-profit higher education college access space and many years as a college admissions professional, to guide students and alleviate stress and fears that are a natural part of this process. Her mission is to create access for any student who dreams of pursuing the performing arts, regardless of their background, experience, and economic status. Sharing her passion for performing arts with students and ability to guide them on this journey brings her immense joy.

Tracee had an invaluable impact on my confidence as a new college student. No one in my family was involved in the performing arts in college, so navigating the college admissions process was challenging and confusing for us. Tracee's guidance and support made me feel secure in my decision and helped me access every resource available to me in my transition to college life. She empowered me in my work and continues to be an amazing mentor and source of encouragement as I now enter the early stages of my professional career.
